Designing a Fitness Program

Like the rest of life, health and fitness goals change over time. It’s often challenging to design a fitness program that addresses your lifestyle and fitness goals. And, as your fitness level improves or weakens, depending on where your are in life, you need to modify your program. That leaves you with the daunting task of creating or modifying a fitness program.

When creating a fitness program, many factors come into play, such as your fitness level, your available time, and your goals. Then, you must evaluate whether your program is the best approach to meeting your current goals.  This can be complicated and lead to other questions, such as when do I step up to the next level or when am I doing to much or to little.

About 99% of people I work with need a bit of everything – a total health program. But, some clients want to focus a bit more on building muscle. I also work with clients that are interested in programs that focus on fat loss, more catabolic programs. These different goals involve different approaches to program design.

As always, I’d be happy to work with you to design a program that meets your goals. Please feel free to reach out to discuss the approach that would work best for you.  Also, I set up an online schedule for those interested in scheduling a 30 minute program planning session:
